Data Collection
When registering for the hackathon, we collect: name, email address, role, language preference, and optionally a motivation message. This data is used exclusively for organizing the event.
Purpose
Your data is used for: registration confirmation, event communication (schedule, updates, preparation), team composition, and anonymous statistics for success measurement.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties, except for the data processor mentioned below. Sponsor companies do not receive access to participant data unless you explicitly consent.
Data Processor
To manage registrations, we use Airtable (Formagrid Inc., 799 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). Your data (name, email, role) is stored on Airtable servers in the USA. Airtable is SOC 2 Type II certified. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) or your consent upon registration.
Deletion
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hackathon@powercoders.org. Your data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the event.
Photos & Videos
Photos and videos will be taken during the event. By participating, you agree that these may be used for event documentation and communication. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the organizing team.
